As a “late bloomer” to the field of law, I graduated law school at 49 years old in 2018. As a Navy Veteran, Pilgrim’s Pride contractor, and owner of Martin’s Lawn Care Inc., I didn’t have ambitions of becoming an attorney until I had a couple of negative experiences with attorneys. I felt like I was over-charged and under-serviced. I like to see others get their money's worth. Especially knowing that a lot of people needing an attorney are having to scrape and/or borrow the money, if they are fortunate enough to be able to be represented in the legal system at all.
My passion is to see justice and I have a heart for the children to see that they are growing up in loving families, because all children should feel loved no matter what mistakes their parents made. As a father of four boys, grandpa of six grandchildren, two of which my wife, Angie Martin, and I are currently raising, I know a lot about what it takes to raise children and “make life work” at the same time. I also know that it can be extremely difficult at times. I can usually help in some form or fashion if you will call me.
I am a stickler for keeping my clients informed and I believe that it is my job to fully inform my client about the law and my recommendations based on the law and their particular situation, and then let them make the decisions about how to proceed.
Basically, I wholeheartedly believe that if we treat others the way we want to be treated, then that is the best that we can do and God will honor it to give us the best possible outcome.
